Returns & Right of Withdrawal

Your 14-Day Right of Withdrawal (Widerrufsrecht)

As a consumer you have the right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days without giving any reason, in accordance with §355 and §312g of the German Civil Code (BGB) implementing EU Directive 2011/83/EU.

The withdrawal period is 14 days from the day on which you, or a third party named by you who is not the carrier, acquired physical possession of the goods. Where an order comprises multiple goods delivered separately, the period runs from possession of the last item; for goods delivered in several lots, from the last lot.

To exercise the right of withdrawal you must inform Equip Depot SA LLC, Freiheitstraße 124/126, 15745 Wildau, Germany, email sales@equipdepoteu.com, phone +49 176 89800462, by a clear statement (e.g. a letter or email) of your decision to withdraw. You may use the model withdrawal form provided in our Widerrufsbelehrung, but this is not obligatory. To meet the deadline it is sufficient to send your communication before the withdrawal period expires.

Effects of Withdrawal and Refunds

If you withdraw, we will reimburse all payments received from you, including the standard outbound delivery costs (except for any supplementary costs arising from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive standard delivery we offer), without undue delay and no later than 10 days (statutory maximum 14 days) from the day we are informed of your withdrawal.

We will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise; in no case will you incur any fees for the reimbursement.

We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back, or until you have supplied evidence of having sent the goods back, whichever is the earliest.

Returning the Goods

You must send back or hand over the goods to us without undue delay and in any event no later than 30 days (statutory maximum 14 days) from the day on which you communicate your withdrawal. The deadline is met if you send the goods before the period of 14 days has expired.

You bear the direct cost of returning the goods where we have informed you of this in advance. For bulky or oversized goods that cannot normally be returned by post (for example containers, trailers or saunas), the return cost is estimated at a maximum of the applicable freight/haulage charge, which will be shown to you before you order; a specific estimate is provided on the relevant product page.

You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning.

Exemptions from the Right of Withdrawal

The right of withdrawal does not apply to the supply of goods that are made to your specifications or are clearly personalised (§312g(2) No. 1 BGB). This includes bespoke or custom-built containers, made-to-order saunas, and trailers or equipment manufactured to your individual specification.

Where a product is configured or built to consumer specification, this is clearly indicated before you place your order. Statutory guarantee rights (see our Warranty policy) remain fully unaffected by this exemption.
